This small but intricate project involved the creation of a colored-concrete plaza with concrete furniture inset with tile work by independently contracted artists. This portion of the park will serve as both a gateway to the park and an informal "living room", complete with tiled concrete chairs, a couch, ottoman, and an intricately curved bench. Three artists performed the mosaic tile work on the benches, columns, and center inlay.
Gateway Plaza - Ready for installation of the artists' tile work. Tile envelops the two columns, infill the 'rug' area in the foreground next to the ottoman, and at all couch insets on all sides.
